I am trying to go one step at a time on the difficulty scale here but I ran into a snag......My vice broke in the middle of a glue up and thew me off a little....I pre-drilled the pieces and used a dowel to line up while clamping and removed it while the glue was wet....Probably not the best method but it seemed to work until my vice broke.
Keep in mind all this wood is from an old fence post and a cedar log from my farm....No store bought stuff.
I used a miter saw for all the cuts a drill press....a broken vice and 2 clamps. I need to go buy a new band saw and a good vice but I still like the looks of the call.
The 4 pics show all 4 sides as if you were turning it around in your hand....
The knot is supposed to be tight on one side and unravel as yo tun the call then back to tight at the starting point.

I think If I had more time and tools I would try a tennon in each pre-drilled piece to help with alignment. using a jig for drilling the angled pieces.
