Collet Chuck????

I have a Carba tec mini lathe and I need a collet chuck....Anyone know where I can get the cheapest price or even a used one? The factory wants $219  :down1: I just cant do that

I have some great ideas that I just cant do without one.

Does it thread on?? If so what size threads?? I have asked similar questions and everyone seems to like this one. :yes:
I just aint sure it will fit my lathe.....

Al the threads are 1"x8tpi and it has an adapter for 3/4" x 16tpi  if memory serves.

Stay away from the Wood River one that Woodcraft sells.  It is junk.  Mine had over 1/16" of runout and promptly went back to the store for a refund.  I've heard nothing but good things about the PSI model.

I like my Beal a lot,I use it for just about everything.It did hurt paying the price for it ,but it was worth it and improved my call making.I consider it an invest in my call making.Get the best one you can afford.Good luck!
