Sorry you are having a problem.   I'll look into it and see if there is anything we can do on our end

Just a suggestion, you may try rebooting your computer. That sometimes will clear out a bad link or cookie or what ever it is called. You can tell I'm very computer literate.

I don't cache any sites with my browser and it happens on several different computers I use. The problem is server side.

Again, We are sorry you are having a problem.  I said I would look in into it and I will.

Please keep in mind that Braz is an Administrator here, not a web tech, he was just trying to help.    Your response to him was out of line.

I suggest you spend 10 minutes and read our TOS.   Rude behavior towards any member here is simply not tolerated.

The Administrators, Moderators and Members give their time freely to help other call makers in every way they can.  The vast majority of us are call makers, not web guru's.   Things like this take time to solve.   I have to contact our hosting service, and tell them of the problem.   They have 24 hours to get back to me.  Yesterday was Sunday and today is a Holiday.   I dont know if I will even hear back from them until Tuesday.

In the mean time, I know of several boards you can go to where you can show your ass and no one will give two hoots about it.   But I know of NO board where you will get the help and support you get here.   So you can give us some time to try and solve the problem, or you can go somewhere else.   The choice is yours, for now.    If you get rude with me, or another administrator, moderator, or member again, that choice will be mine.

Whoa sorry Al! That wasn't my intention at all to be rude or out of line! I do apologize if I came off that way at all. I made a statement and that was all, I could've phrased it differently for sure, I forget sometimes that typing on a forum comes off as rude if I don't watch how I phrase things! I'm so sorry like I said and I never meant to come off rude at all. If you knew me personally you wouldnt think me as rude i assure you! I just need to work on my phrasing skills while typing. Please dont hold this against me!

This same thing has been happening to me when I logout and log back in, so you're not the only one.

I know what you mean about phrasing things online. Thanks for bringing this issue to light, we'll look into it and see what's going on.

Welcome to the forum, holler if we can help.

OK, we have some stuff to try.

From our Tech Guru:

The most common cause is people book marking your site while logged in. Then when they click to come back the browser tries to re initiate that session and the forum software says no, no.

Try this.  Log out of the forum.   Delete your BookMark or Favorites Link.   Then BookMark the page again.  Then log in.   See if that works.

This may be a trial and error type deal so your help and feed back will be needed to solve it.

One other thing you can try, is to log on, then delete your BookMark.   Then re BookMark the site, and log in and where it says how long to stay logged in, click Forever.

Let me know if either of those two things work for you guys.

Ok, heres what I have done and it seems to have solved the issue. I attempted to log in and got the error so I hit the back key and logged in again and it worked like it always does the second time. So AFTER logging in I bookmarked the page and then logged out. I then closed my browser and since I dont save cookies or history I had to log back into the forum, so I used the Bookmark I made from when I was logged in and it asked me fill in my user name and pw, so I did and made sure the duration was set to forever and it worked on the first try.

I appreciate your attention to this matter Al, and hope there are no hard feelings between us.

Just to throw in my  :2: I had been experiencing the same problem then I noticed that the problem was occurring when I used IE and hit "enter" after putting my username and password in. It doesnt do it if I take the cursor and click the login button with my mouse.
