I had the afternoon off today so I made this call. It is Corian with a single reed and an anodized black band. I've switched from friction fit inserts to using o-rings and I'm liking the fit a lot better than making tapered friction inserts. As for sound, I've struggled and struggled to get my calls' sound to the level where I could hand it to a talented caller with pride and no reservations and with this call I'm finally there. It feed chuckles and quacks on the low end, and it has an awesome ringing hail. If I didn't plan to keep it forever, this is the first duck call I've made that I'd sell to someone.
Pretty proud of this one because of the sound. Definitely open to suggestions, criticism or whatever regarding the shape and proportions. My new insert shape feels good in my hand but I haven't put one in any friend's hand for others' opinions just yet.
