I got the Lee Valley sander in today, it was not supposed to be shipped until September.  It is built like a tank, about $90 plus a motor and worth every penny and then some.  Total quality is excellent :bigup:

Thanks for the follow up post Marvin as I was/am curious on your purchase. I have several 110 motors around here to check out for fitting up to the frame of that belt grinder, goodness knows though I don't need to take on another small project but I enjoy doing that kind of stuff.
