Can you or has anyone ever used a sanding sealer with a CA finish? It SEEMS to me when I use the sealer on spar dipped calls it really makes the grain pop. Or is there somthing you can use under the ca that anyone knows of?
Thanks,
Tobin

B,
BLO under Ca? No I've not tried that. What type of application do you use?
Thanks,

Tobin go to youtube and search for finishing with CA. There is a pen turner that posted a video using CA/BLo and that is the method I use. Really easy and the grain POPS! Call me tomorrow night and I can help you with it if you need to.
Keep trying the CA stuff. Its all I use on duck can goose calls now.
